Despite the fact that accommodation in Hasselt is much much cheaper compared to most parts of Europe, it is still far more expensive than that in our Phnom Penh. What is even surprising is that you are most likely to be living in a place of residence where you have to share the kitchen, toilet, and shower room with other flatmates. Nonetheless, there is always enough space in those places for you to do your business, for there is normally a pair of kitchens with two fridges, toilets, and shower rooms. You should check with your landlord first if you are curious about those things. In addition, if you are super lucky like in my case, there is a personal fridge for you in your room.
